I'm a little surprised that the combination of the older saitek signed drivers and the newer madcatz sst software actually worked as well as it did. You might need another profile for another aircraft. I know there is probably just a simple step somewhere that I am missing. One thing I would like to highlight is that during the initial movements of the joystick and throttle unit, both basic movements — roll and pitch — are detected by X-Plane. The key presses I bound to it just aren't happening though. It really should not be anything else than that.
Install the new programming software. The tutorial is really a great help. The most likely culprit is, as I said, the unsigned drivers. Took me another 30 minutes to figure that part out. After the major Windows 10 update yesterday build 1511 my Saitek x52 Pro didn't work anymore. This will install all the drivers for the joystick and throttle unit.

The x-52 display came on immediately and I was able to reinstall the beta drivers with no problems. Not only just looking good, it works great in combination with many flight simulators. Once I pressed it firmly to the table, remember, I used the four suction cups that hold it, you can easily move the stick in any direction — pitch and roll — or twisting it yaw channel without too much force. Progressive Throttle with Resistance Adjustment The throttle unit's progressive functionality improves aircraft response. I have read threw both the manuels. They simply have terrible foresight, and take months to get around to supporting products customers paid for.
