The 6300 would just cut the system off randomly when overclocked to 4. Age Newest 74 Months Slightly more recent. This was the worse purchase of my life. Also, I have realized that the fans on my 760 start getting really loud when my pc crashes. I am in the same situation as well. It seems like the multiplier does not go beyond 16x, which is what it is set to as stock. I had to downclock it to multiplier 14x 2.
I should have probably gotten a brisbane black edition, or better, swapped my motherboard and gotten a C2D. If you were to overclock both, the 8320 would surpass the 6300 just by nature. The system info says 3 cores with 6 logical processors. Among its many features, Virtualization is activated and the clock multiplier is unlocked, meaning it can be overclocked easily. It offers 4 Physical Cores 4 Logical , clocked at 3. Sharing resources doesnt make them octacores-hexacores- quad cores! Also, whenever I play an intensive game probably, so far I have only played Rust, my temperatures are fine, however sometimes the pc crashes and I have to reboot it, my best guess is the drivers need updating or it is just Windows 10 that is still with a lot of bugs. This applies to Ebay, Newegg Marketplace, Amazon and other sites that allow deals to be handled by 3rd parties. But typical desktop users will find far better value. Other than that I hope to get years of use out of this processor. Packaging should be the same as what is found in a retail store, unless the item is handmade or was packaged by the manufacturer in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plastic bag. It is a powerful Hexa Core whose performance is good. Thank me later for not wasting money on the ancient fx 6300 cpu. But the 8320 and 8350 is better.
Don't get me wrong, both are very good chips for their age but the 8core is better if it can be squeezed in to the budget. We all know the intel i7 3770 is the faster processor and is also considerably more expensive. And asked one simple question. Considering that the 8320 has more cores, does it consequently mean that its faster overall? It's not surprising that the 4770K sets a new record, besting its predecessor by just over 9%.
It's really just a matter of preference. So I am purchasing some sticks of supported as stated in the manual. Have questions that need to be answered? Taltimir, can you show me where it says that the black edition is supposed to have an unlocked multilpier, and where it says it is supposed to run stable using the stock heatsink from a older cpu. As overclocking, all fx processors are fully unlocked although cooling is a factor when overclocking and stock coolers are usually crap in that category. So wouldn't you like to know just exactly what those extra coins actually get you? And the intels overclock extremely well.

As for their similarities, they pack unlocked multipliers which are ideal for overclocking goodness. I figured I will run it in stock, maybe up the multiplier from 16 to 17 or 18 with a good heatsink. The 4100 could reach a top core speed of 4. At least I got 60% more mhz from the whole deal but still a sour deal. It runs very poorly with new gpu's and motherboards nowadays. You can overclock it pass that frequency but usually if you want to get it within the 4.
And the black edition is the unlocked multiplier edition. It is from the system info with Cinebench R11. Taking a closer look at their distinctions, the 8320 is a 3. Also, a fan that is similar to the Zalman 9700 is a good thing to have for this processor. The 4770K also tops out in the remainder of our benchmarks setting new highs of 10020 and 2164 in the PassMark and PassMark Single Thread tests which equates to roughly an 8% overall performance increase over the 3770K. You might notice some things like browsers opening up a tad quicker but really the modern processor is hard to improve on just by upping the clock rate. This will lower your yearly electricity bill significantly, as well as prevent you from having to invest in extra cooling mechanisms unless you overclock. After looking it up there is no regular edition like with the 8150 and its black edition. It will only run at that clock when it is feels necessary. . The black edition refers to it being a newer edition to the 6100.
